Penshurst Football Netball Club – Volunteer Roster 2025

Everyone involved with PFNC is allocated volunteer roles throughout the season to help run successful home games. If you can’t make your rostered time, you must arrange your own swap or replacement. If you are not on the roster but would like to help, contact Tim Wilson – 0429 168 020 or Cassie Franklin – 0400 261 018

Canteen Duties

  • Check food temperatures
  • Heat, prepare, and serve food
  • Stock fridges and ensure enough food is available
  • Sandwich fillings are provided by the club/Bakery
  • Clean up at end of days service ready for the evening meal team

Gate & Raffle

  • One person collects admission money
  • One person sells raffle tickets ($2 each or 3 for $5) – drawn at half time of the Senior football game

Cleaning – Before & After Home Games

Before Saturday

  • Clean and tidy clubroom
  • Clean & tidy all change rooms (Netball, football & umpires)
  • Clean & stock toilets
  • Empty all bins

After Saturday’s game day & on Sunday

  • Tidy outdoor areas – including rubbish
  • Sweep/blower vac verandahs
  • Deep clean all club spaces – sweep, vacuum, mop
  • Restock toilet paper
  • Empty bins (into the skip bin)

Supplies

  • Located in the kitchen cupboards near the front glass windows. Mops & buckets near the kitchen door

NOTE:

  • Sanitary & nappy bins: DO NOT EMPTY (collected by an external company)
  • Tea towels & aprons: Take home, wash, and return
  • If you can’t attend the scheduled clean-up times, arrange a time to complete a cleaning task and inform your Team Leader.

Saturday Evening Meal

Prior:

  • Liaise with your Team Leader in advance to organise any food you are required to bring.
  • Team Leader can order food/meat etc through club suppliers – see Liz Kelly
  • Reimbursement – Available for purchased ingredients – speak with your Team Leader

On the day:

  • Meal Prep begins at the end of the Senior Football Game (4:30pm)
  • Dinner to be Served: After presentations (6pm)
  • Meal teams assist with the entire cooking, serving and kitchen clean-up on that day.
